iQ360XT RENTAL GUIDE

SETUP. OPERATION. JOBSITE SUPPORT.

The iQ360XT is a 14-inch dry-cut masonry saw with integrated dust control. This guide walks through assembly, safety preparation, blade selection, the first cut, and end-of-day shutdown so you can start cutting with confidence.

Contact the rental location directly to confirm equipment availability, rates, and rental requirements.

OVERVIEW

WHAT YOU ARE RENTING.

A quick look at the iQ360XT before you pick it up, plus the specifications to plan your cuts around.

Renting the iQ360XT gives you a compact masonry saw that cuts brick, block, pavers, and stone without water. Dust is collected at the blade, so there is no slurry to clean up and no hose to run across the jobsite.

Use this page to prepare before you pick up the tool: assemble and inspect the saw, confirm your PPE, choose the right blade for the material, and review the shutdown steps the rental location expects you to follow. The training modules below are the same walkthroughs iQ provides for the iQ360XT.

SETUP & OPERATION

TRAINING MODULES.

Work through each module before your rental, then keep this page open as a refresher on the jobsite.

01

Product introduction

A walkthrough of the iQ360XT and the dry-cut features that make it useful on a masonry jobsite.

  • 14-inch Q-Drive blade with a 4.5-inch depth of cut and 12 inches of cut length.
  • Integrated dust collection captures dust at the blade, so no water or slurry is required.
  • 65 lb frame built for one-person handling on smaller masonry and hardscape work.
02

Assembly and initial setup

How the saw arrives, what to check out of the box, and how to set it up stable before the first cut.

  • Unbox and inspect all parts before assembly.
  • Attach the rolling table or base if the rental unit includes one.
  • Tighten all bolts and verify the saw sits stable on a level surface.
  • Visually check the blade guard and the blade cover.
03

Safety preparation and protective equipment

The PPE and worksite checks to complete before starting the saw.

  • Safety glasses and ear protection are required.
  • Gloves and safety shoes are recommended.
  • Wear a dust mask, and follow jobsite rules for hard hats, high-visibility vests, or respirators.
  • Operate on a level, stable surface, avoid wet or rainy conditions, and keep the area ventilated.
04

Blade selection

Match the blade to the material before you start cutting.

  • The iQ360XT runs a 14-inch blade.
  • Use iQ blades rated for concrete, masonry, pavers, hard brick, and granite.
  • General purpose laser-welded, Platinum Silent Core, and Platinum blades cover different materials and finishes.
  • Stick with iQ blades to keep dust collection and cutting efficiency where they should be.
05

Starting the saw and preparing the first cut

A pre-cut checklist, then the first clean cut.

  • Use a 10-gauge extension cord, 50 feet maximum, and check the plug for damage.
  • Confirm the blade is installed and secured with the wrench.
  • Verify the dust collection port is clear and the dust bin is installed.
  • Check that the rolling track slides smoothly and the saw arm raises and lowers freely.
06

Blade dressing and maintenance

How and why to dress the blade so it keeps cutting.

  • Dressing removes glazing from the diamond segments.
  • It restores cutting performance and prolongs blade life.
  • Dress the blade when cuts slow down or the blade starts riding on the material.
07

End-of-use cleanup and shutdown

The end-of-day sequence to finish before returning the saw.

  • Power off and unplug the saw.
  • Confirm the blade has stopped and is locked.
  • Unlock and remove the dust bin, then empty it into a safe container.
  • Turn the filter knob a few turns to clean the filter.
  • Wipe down or air-blow the saw housing and louvers.
  • Inspect moving parts, including the tracks and rollers.
